Keith Richmond

Keith has been singing barbershop since his high school music teacher introduced him and a few other students to the art form.  He has never looked back since.  Over the following decades, Keith sang in several quartets and chrouses and always found great joy in making a chord ring!  Keith sang under some top notch barbershop chorus directors and was thrilled to serve and hone his skills as assistant director for the Mount Baker Toppers under the mentorship of his all-time barbershop hero, Denny Stiers.

Keith has always preferred the traditional barbershop style and was delighted with the Worldwide Barbershop Quartet Association was formed in 2018 with the purpose of preserving the MUSIC, the FELLOWSHIP and the FUN that has been the culture of organized barbershop harmony singing from its inception.  With that spirit in mind, Keith formed the Cloverdale Chordsmen which had its firs gathering on April 11, 2022.

Keith bring a joyous upbeat demeanour to his directing position and love to set a fun "tone" in every rehearsal. He emphasizes the joy and fun there is in making barbershop chords truly ring. He enjoys the comraderie and fellowship of the members and celebrates the caring brotherhood the group shares.  Keith champions the idea of men singing together for joy and fellowship, and encourages his guys to always....
